Friends of Small Gully Wines occasionally offer us premium parcels of grapes that reflect the regional characteristics of the variety offered. This special parcel of Zinfandel was sourced from McLaren Vale, blended to our house style, and release under our premium, small batch "Panankeia" label. A small percentage of Marananga Shiraz was added to fill out the palate structure

o Color: Deep Carmine red with purple hints
o Nose: Fruitcake, mahogany wood, lilac and hints of blackcurrants
o Palate: Medium to full bodied with well-rounded tannins, ripe spicy blackcurrant fruit (typical of Zinfandel style). Mouthfilling structure with great length. The mature oak characters meld with the black fruits and spice of this wine
